My Journey
Hey, I’m Mel, A health coach, personal trainer, nutritionist, and karate instructor.
Like most people I’ve spent years trying to juggle my hobbies, my unpredictable work schedule, and the general demands of life. Years training as a black belt taught me what it takes to build strength in body, mind, and spirit.
But I was still over-stressed, over-scheduled, and always under the weather.
During my journey to take control of my own health issues, build strength, and find better balance, I discovered that there isn’t a one-size-fits-all solution. In fact, the answer isn’t even just in nutrition, or exercise, or stress management, it’s all of it, all rolled together in healthier habits that actually fit into real life.
That’s why I created Mpower Active; to help every day people move more, stress less, and feel better.
My approach looks at your lifestyle, your goals, and your obstacles all together to create a program that grows with you and creates a healthy lifestyle that you actually enjoy. For some people that might be a structured plan with set workouts and meal plans, for others it might mean flexible nutrition education and getting out in nature, Whatever your perfect healthy life looks like, if you’re ready to make it a reality, I’d love help you get there.
